Turkey has a great tradition in sailing and has a coast line of approx 8000 km (app 4500 Nautical Miles) but only few areas can be visited by sail boat. The most important is Marmaris and Bodrum area. You will find here many natural bays to anchor and a small farmers restaurant for phenomenal local food. There are plenty of yachts available, from famous Gulets to modern catamarans. Also, greek islands of Kos, Simi or Rhodos are easily reached once customs is clear.
