Sailing with kids in a flotilla in north Ionian archipelago.
July is one of the best months to go sailing in Ionian. The breeze is generally mild in the Lefkada area. So no worries about sailing conditions and the safety of the kids! The water temperature is just on point even for night swims.
The route has plenty of day swimming stops and distances are short everyday 1-2h max, with one exception in the first day when we will sail about 4h. It is a relaxing week so lots of time to spend in natural bays at anchor so kids can play with their new and old friends. + daily swimming and diving contests, village building on floaties.

The most important spots on our route
Paxos is an island full of olive grooves having a relaxing and calm vibe. Paxos town is a colorful place and it’s the place where Netflix “Maestro in Blue” was filmed. There are many beautiful bays with calm turquoise waters and great snorkeling spots.
Look at this fabulous restaurant, in the middle of an old olive tree orchard, just on the beach. It is one of the most picturesque places on the island and they also serve great local cooked food. We will visit them for sure.
You can not reach this area and not pay a short visit to the famous blue caves on the west side of Paxos. We will be there early in the morning to avoid daily trips tourist boats 🙂
Antipaxos is a small uninhabited island nearby Paxos and it offers 2 fantastic natural bays. We will spend a night at anchor here and go on the beach for a local taverna at dinner time.
Sivota is a small vilage on the continent, but there are 3 small islands just in front of this village and the anchoring spots between them are just amazing. Just swim to the nearby empty beach and enjoy a moment of tranquility while the kids are having a diving contest 🙂 Dinner is at a fisherman family owned taverna.
Next stop will be Parga with it’s famous coloured buildings on the hill. There is no port here, but a large bay with plenty of space for another raft. A short dinghie or water taxi ride in town for a delightful dinner.

There are 3 types of catamarans available for this flotilla:
a. standard catamaran – Lagoon 40, Lagoon 42, Bali 41, Bali Catspace, Bali 42 – price per week – 6500 – 7500 eur.
b. comfort catamaran – Lagoon 450, Lagoon 46, Bali 44, Bali 46 – price per week 8500-9500
c. premium catamaran – Lagoon 50, Lagoon 52, Bali 48, Bali 54 – price per week 10500 – 17500
Bali 46 has 5 double cabins, Bali 48 has 6 double cabins, Bali 54 has 6 double cabins, Lagoon 50 and 52 have 6 double cabins, other catamarans have 4 double cabins each + 4 toilets.
price may vary depending on the manufacturing year of the catamaran and equipment installed onboard.
Monohauls are also available on request, so feel free to ask for a specific one if you want to join in a mono.
There are also some extra costs, for the whole catamaran:
cleaning – 300 eur
diesel -400 eur
skipper -1300 eur
port fees – 50 eur
hostess – 1200 eur – it is optional, but truly recommended, it’s a game changer 🙂
Food and drinks on the boat are bought from the supermarket or distributor and delivered to the yacht.
Payment: if you book your yacht before 1 Jan 2024, you can have 3 installments for yacht payment: 30% down payment, 40% on Feb 1st and 30% on May 1st. If you book your yacht after Jan 1st 2024, you will have 2 installments: 50% down payment and 50% on May 1st.
The extra costs are to be paid in cash or card on spot.
For the best experience we recommend to gather your friends and book a full catamaran – 4 or 5 double cabins.
